Jake's Trip to Ohio

Jake, Tom (Jason's Dad), and I headed back to Ohio at the end of June so that Jake could finally have the opportunity to meet his Great-Grandparents. It was a great visit and an opportunity for so many new experiences. Jake got to catch fireflies in the evenings, visit the Amish country, eat Amish food (which he couldn't get enough of), play in their yard (he's probably too young to remember when we actually had grass), steal Grandpa's cane and hit all the great dining spots in Canton. Every morning he would head out to play trucks with Grandma GG and later in the afternoon he would roam around outside and then play with Grandpa GG in his chair. Grandpa could sure get him laughing. I think he loved all the attention since his sisters were still at home in Idaho. It was a wonderful trip and we so appreciate the Grandparents for all they do!
