Scientist in Training

Cambrie found a deer skull while out with her Dad the other day. Her friend Josie came over after school to play and they decided to extract all of the teeth from the skull. They documented each step of the procedure with pictures and even had the proper eye protection. She truly is a scientist in training.

The skull.

The teeth after extraction.

Date Night with Dad

Tatum has been doing amazing and has gone over a month and a half now without the thumb. As a reward, Jason decided to take her on a date night. She was so excited for her night out all on her own with Dad. Cambrie even helped her get ready for the evening. They had dinner at Warbirds then headed to Game On to play a few games.

Here she is all ready to go with a smile from ear to ear.

Tatum took a camera along. Here are some of the pics from her camera.
Here's Dad!

Tatum . . . all smiles again!
Obviously dessert was the best part.

Countdown to braces

Cambrie has been counting down the days until her appointment with the orthodontist. I've never seen a child so excited to get braces. We went to the amazing Dr. Hillam in Idaho Falls for an evaluation. Here she is getting her pictures taken by the assistant. Much to Cambrie's dismay, no braces right now.

But we did get to eat lunch at Cafe Rio which made our day.

Our Pampered Pooch

Cambrie just happens to have a book that tells how to make your dog a princess, so she decided that Hershey needed some pampering. She gave each of us an assignment and wrote it on green papers that she taped on us. I was the 'Head Massager'. She brought Hershey's bed over and served her meal and treat to her on a tray. I'm not sure what Hershey was thinking, but the kids thought it was great.

green eggs and ham . . .

As a conclusion to Dr. Seuss Week at Cambrie's school, they had a green eggs and ham party!

Tatum and Jake were able to enjoy the fun too.
