American Girl Photo Shoot

Cambrie received a subscription to the American Girl Magazine for her birthday and has since read it cover to cover. Actually, it has been taped page by page all around her room, but she's already made one of the recipes and the other day, she decided to take photos of her dolls in action. (There was an article with tips on how to get good shots). Here are some of the MANY photos we have.

Here, Felicity is apparently about to give Elizabeth a haircut.

Grandma gave the girls these eye masks which they thought were pretty cool.
I snuck in after they fell asleep and took a couple pictures. It was pretty cute.


But the best part of all is . . .

Felicity just happened to have an eye mask too!

Let me preface this by stating that I am not a seamstress by any means. Anyway, my girls have been obsessed with American Girl Dolls and we have a tradition of opening new jammies on Christmas Eve, so this year I decided to make coordinating pj's for the girls dolls. I thought it would be fun if their dolls had a gift too. Anyway, I'm kind-of impressed with how well they turned out. . . as long as you don't look too close!

Cambrie's 7th Birthday!

Cambrie had a great 7th Birthday. She has been wanting to go skiing with Dad for her birthday, but due to the lack of snow, we had to come up with a backup plan. She decided she wanted to go bowling so we headed to the Rex in Rexburg for some fun.
Before we left, she opened some of her presents.
Her Nana & Poppy got her Felicity, the American Girl Doll she has been wanting for quite some time now.
