Wonderful moments . . .

We've so enjoyed being home and lazy during this holiday season. Many days are spent like this one. They start outside playing in the snow for a bit, then head inside, strip off their snow clothes and spend the rest of the day in thermals. They have had so much fun just playing with each other. Here they are reading with Jake's new Tag reader. Tatum also got some new books for hers. I finally downloaded them onto the Tag and they spent the rest of the day playing with and reading their books. It was so fun to watch and listen to them.
Sadly I missed the chance to get pictures, but earlier they turned Jake's room into an American Girl city. They had partitioned off different areas for everything you could imagine. They played in there for days. It was amazing. Fortunately Jake has been sleeping with the girls, so he didn't mind the transformation of his room.
Today they got out a book called Boredom Busters and found an activity in there. I went up in the playroom and they were each making their own windsock, all without any parental guidance. I tell Jason all the time, we were definitely spoiled when it comes to our children.
