Tatum Update!

I'm a little slow to post this, but last week Tater headed to the doctor to have her stitches removed, more x-rays and have her hard cast put on. Here she is after they removed the splint and all the dressings. They were able to do the surgery by only making two small incisions, one on each side of her elbow. As a result, she had 5 stitches to remove, which was a piece of cake. Her elbow was still a bit swollen, but x-rays showed that the bone fragment was still being held in the proper position {thank goodness} by the pins. We'll head back in 2 weeks for more x-rays, so we can be sure all is still in the proper place.

This is just today. We actually forgot to take pics of the cast the day it was put on.
She loves letting people sign her cast!
She was given her choice of color and of course went for pink.
Dr. Brown added the Glow In The Dark Stripe, then took us in the restroom to test it out.
Tatum thinks it's pretty cool.

And here she is again. Already accessorizing her cast! A true girl!
