Our collection of pets continues to grow. Last week, we found a salamander in our window well. Cambrie promptly named it Lizzie the Lizard (before we realized it was a salamander). It was quite dry from being in the window well, so we got out our old fish aquarium and made Lizzie a little home. She was very skittish at first, but now she heads to the same spot every night, waiting for her dinner to be fed to her. She also enjoys dips in the pool and snoozing inside her log. Lucky for us, along with a salamander come the crickets that they eat. Thanks to a guy at Petco, we are now attempting to breed crickets as food for Lizzie. It's just great! Nothing like bringing the outdoors in, with the sound of crickets chirping ALL NIGHT LONG.

Oh boy a lizard! I have to give you credit because I just don't know if we would ever have a lizard. Good luck with the breeding crickets -YUCK!!
