Here is my Jake-Man as he likes to be called. He's getting so big and is so full of life and energy. Here he is on the big slide at Cambrie's school.
Jake on the swings! We've finally convinced him to wear shorts. It was quite the battle though. He is very particular about his clothing. Today he had to wear his tiger sweatshirt and his "cool shoes" as he calls them.
Jake never misses an opportunity to help me bake. Here he is finishing off the filling from homemade Oreo cookies. If he sees me anywhere near the mixer, he's running over pushing his chair up to the counter to help out. He's also always very dirty, as you can see.
Here is Jake and his best buddy Isaac. These two are hilarious together. They are playing with the softball helmets after the coach pitch softball game.

I finished my first Tri at the end of May and it was an amazing experience. I was really hesitant to sign-up for it, but with some encouragement from my good friend Heidi, I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad that I did. It was so good for me to have a reason to 'have to' work out every morning for the weeks leading up to the Tri. I even surprised myself how diligent I was at getting up every morning. Jason was extremely supportive which also helped to keep me motivated. My main goals were to enjoy it and to still be standing after crossing the finish line. I enjoyed it so much, I'm already looking forward to next year. Anyone interested??
