I looked out the glass door the other day and wondered why there was raffia on my Christmas wreath that I have yet to take down. I went out to pull it off, and upon looking closer . . .

I saw this perfect little nest

Cambrie became quite protective of our little robin's nest. She made signs like these and posted them near the door, which apparently is now out of commision until the birds leave.

I love the 'P.S. give her worms.' The kids have actually been searching for worms and feeding her. It is pretty amazing to watch the mom and dad and how careful they are to stay close to the nest. The kids have been begging to look inside to see if there were any eggs yet, so I stuck my camera up while she was away for a moment and snapped this pic.
Needless to say, the kids are ecstatic!
