More Gardening!

With the 4th of July coming up, this Gardening Class was very patriotic. They planted petunias in rows of red, white and blue for the 4th of July garden. Then they made flower arrangements with cut flowers.
Here they are with their arrangements and flags.

Planting in the 4th of July Garden.
Look at all the different little gardens behind them. This children's garden is amazing.

They had a parade with the flags over to the fish pond where they were able to feed the huge fish in the pond.

Gardening Class

We've been going to MD Nursery's Gardening Classes for kids this summer and the kids have absolutely loved it.
On this day they planted potatoes and onions.
Jake's favorite part of planting is always the watering.

Then they made pinecone bird feeders. First they smothered the pinecones with peanut butter.
Then they covered them with bird seed. We hung them on the trees in our yard, and they were picked completely clean.
The next project was to fill a container that they brought with them.
Jake brought this turtle container. It was the hit of the class. Here he is . . . tickling the roots like they taught him.
Cambrie and Tatum had mason jars, but spent most of their time painting them.

Jackson Hole with Nana . . .

We've been pretty good at using our Jar of Fun this summer. One of the things we pulled out this week was the SHOOTOUT in Jackson Hole. This worked out great since my Mom was here visiting and has never seen the SHOOTOUT.
Here is my Mom with the kiddos under the Antler Arch in the Town Square.
Cambrie and Nana hangin' on the bench in the park. The weather was amazing. After weeks of rain we couldn't get enough of the sunshine.

We had dinner at the Silver Dollar Grill - This is a favorite of ours.
Then we headed over to the Square to watch the SHOOTOUT. Jake was surprisingly scared by the gunfire.
Nana with the kiddos again.
We also took a stagecoach ride. The kids thought this was pretty cool.

Happy, Happy Birthday Tatum!

Our little Tatum turned 6 last Friday. She LOVES balloons so I waited until she went to bed then decorated with balloons and streamers. She was so excited when she woke up.

Playing with a balloon. Her hand is also filled with balloons that weren't blown up yet.

Taterooski with her requested giant chocolate chip cookie and a balloon.

What a cutie! I can't believe she's already 6!
WE LOVE YOU TATUM!

The Birthday Bash!

Once we made it home, Tatum had her friend Sophia come over for dinner, dessert and a movie.
Here she is opening presents. She loved the packing popcorn.

Getting ready to blow out the candles.

Watching the movie.

We were all exhausted at the end of her fun filled day, but I know she loved every minute of it.

More Birthday Fun.

The kids were done bowling, but not ready to head home yet so we hit the inflatables for some more fun.

Birthday Bowling!

Tatum's other big request was to go bowling on her birthday so we headed to The Rex. Tatum was great at bowling. She would hold it with both hands, run up, then let it fly.

Cambrie's turn.

All 3 kiddos.
